Jane Lane is Daria's best (and practically only) friend. For the most part, she shares Daria's perception of people and the world in general. However, Jane is slightly more outgoing than her friend and had a steady boyfriend, Tom, up until the last episode of Season 4. In the movie, she was hit on by a fellow artist, Alison, but nothing came of it.

Trent

Trent Name: Trent Lane (The God of Never-Ending Sleep)

Occupation: Lead singer of Mystik Spiral and slacker extrodinaire

Favorite Pastimes: Sleeping, practicing with 'The Spiral' in his basement, writing songs with no deeper meaning, ranting about how superior vinyl is, walking around his house looking like he's in a coma, gazing forlornly into his perpetually empty refrigerator

Trent is Jane's big brother and the lead singer of Mystik Spiral, an anarchist alternative band. Daria has had a major crush on him ever since the second episode, and he is completely oblivious to this. He, however, does like her as a friend and proclaims that she is "the coolest high-schooler I know."

I, Jade, Currently only have a daria computer game(Daria's Inferno) and The Movie Is It College Yet? aha and i taped that..But I am Searching For Shat On e-bay at this exact moment aha and i signed a petition to get the people of mtv to put all the daria episodes on dvd lol..anyways thats all!(its red and green writing cause if u noticed thats the colors of the Sick,Sad, World logo!)

Daria is the show’s main character and the queen of cynicism, sarcasm, and dry wit. Her best friend, Jane, and she are probably the only half-intelligent beings in their town of Lawndale. She is plagued by insane parents and teachers, a super-popular sister, and extremely stupid classmates.

Quinn

Name: Quinn Morgendorffer
Age: 15 ½
Occupation: Sophmore at Lawndale High School, Vice President of the Fashion Club
First Appearence: "The Esteemsters"
Voice: Wendy Hoopes
Favorite Pastimes: Being cute and popular, going on dates, messing with her hair, talking on the phone

Rather ironically, Quinn is the total opposite of Daria; its a wonder that they're even related, much less sisters. Quinn's one of the most popular people in school, she seems only to care about what people think of her, and she is, for the most part, exceedingly shallow and self-centered. She's also had a string of boyfriends far too long to name, but her most persistant admirers are Joey, Jeffy, and Jamie .

-Interesting Facts-

- Daria has a picture of Mark Twain on her sleepshirt
- Her room has padded walls, as the house's previous owners kept their schizophrenic aunt locked in it
- The schizophrenic aunt must have been confined to a wheelchair (possibly strapped down), as Daria's room has a wheelchair rail next to the door
- Daria collects fake human bones
- She has two TV's - one mounted on the ceiling in the corner opposite her bed (doesn't work - remote is missing) and one on a roller cart

Name: Sandi Griffin

Occupation: Sophmore at Lawndale High School

Voice: Janie Mertz

Sandi is President of the Fashion Club. She is probably the meanest and most popular person on the show, and she despises both the unpopular and people who try to take her place on the social food chain. Because of this, she has an intense rivalry with Quinn, who she suspects of trying to get appointed president of the Fashion Club instead of her. She's right.
